Cathy Ward
1 - 31 March, 2020 Stills from the film ‘Realm’, a flight over a female planet created from over two decades of drawings. With titles such as Domain, Outland, Reactor, Rise and Gloriend these drawings which began as depictions of a lost lovers hair progressed to be vast visionary landscapes infused with memory and emotion. “‘Realm’ is a place of libertarianism, of waving sound fields, a bucolic vale of pleasures known, an immersion in life force frequencies, of regenerative youth; an Arcadian world warped in time - a constellation in a celestial sphere, a satellite in its island universe. A place of other worlds” Cathy Ward lives and works in London.
