A series of intense black and white photographic portraits of black men and woman on the verge, during or after ejaculation/orgasm. This new work  seeks to unravel and capture the moment when the sitter loses control of their body, in other words the moment when identity is shattered, and the body inhabits an elsewhere space.

Bio
Ajamu is a darkroom/fine art photographer, archive curator and radical sex activist known for his conceptual homo-erotic imagery, self-portraits and studio based constructed imagery. His work has been exhibited in various prestigious museums, galleries and alternative spaces around the world. Works have been published in a wide variety of publications, critical journals and reside in private and public collections.
