Dutch artist Jeroen Offerman has said that his installation Silent Boatman ‘… addressed questions of evidence and proof provided by a site. Paper casts of debris found on a dry riverbed functioned as a link between the original site and the gallery. By re-arranging the casts that I made of existing objects a new narrative arose.’For the MOI project 'Forensic' he made a collaborative work entitled Cover Versions with the British artist Simon Morretti, who added his own felt copies ‘Cover-Versions’ of Offerman's casts.
