Fin Serck-Hanssen lives and works in Oslo and presented a striking image of two nude young men swimming in a Norwegian Fjord. The huge 13 x 9 foot photograph on canvas filled the front window of the project space and the youths appear like giant mermen on the urban streets of Peckham.
Serck-Hanssen was recently included in the Hidden Histories exhibition at the New Art Gallery Walsall. He has also has a new book of his intimate photographs called ALBUM published by the Forlaget Press which accompanied a major retrospective of his work at Oslo’s Stenersen Museum, which is currently touring. He has worked with many visual artists including Per Barclay and Yoko Ono and is in the collection of many major museums including The Victoria and Albert, London, National Museum of Contemporary Art, Oslo, and the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television (UK).
