At a time when the western world ploughs its efforts into dealing with the financial crisis, the influx of the bizarre species of Eastern Europeans have gone almost unnoticed. The performance was formed as a museum piece, led by the narration of a museum guide and taking a lead from books such as How to SpeakEnglish in Two Weeks and For Dummies, where the audience was thrown into the context of an anthropology lecture, albeit rather ironic and contemporary, with the viewers drawn in as avid yet endangered learners.
The spectators were taken on a voyage of understanding, ranging from essential survival tips when around Eastern Europeans (including tips specific to the various sub-species) to important information on how to disrupt their deviant ways (notably jobs and freebies). The finale was a life and death contest between the two performers over the passing of a residency. Bordering on offence and comedy, the performance blended facts with satire using the widely held preconceptions as a door into failed multiculturalism.
