British artist Andrew Greaves built several temporary walls in the space creating a cross form for his project Look At, Walk Through, and Listen To. The outside of the form, which visitors encountered first was left rough and raw while the interior was smoothly plastered and painted white, except for two small spaces at the ends of the cross which were painted black. They formed small chambers where visitors could sit and listen to a soundtrack. Greaves used the X or cross form in various other ways in the work including green and red neon cross forms, crosses cut out of the internal doors to the various rooms and even on the wooden backgrounds of the neons.
